–  Increase hotels business market share by generating property exposure, increase sales and by positioning the hotel as the leader in your “comp set” market based on your properties distinctive competitive advantages.
–  Target area market share and put measurable action steps in place.
–  Implement revenue management rate program to achieve consistent results.
–  Identify local demand drivers that impact long-term RevPAR performance by understanding the competitive positioning of each hotel through the market analysis from the Smith Travel Research Star Report (STR).
–  Identify new revenue opportunities by maximizing sales opportunities with existing customers and by identifying new accounts that have significant long-term revenue potential.
–  Review of monthly sales reports.

–  Work closely with the GM to establish the sales effort direction. In lieu of having a designated sales person on property the GM is ultimately responsible to handle all the many sales activities necessary to stay competitive in today’s business environment and insure a balanced sales program is maintained.
